Over 200.000 soldiers out of the Turkish Army sent to the front in World War I shared the same fate. The majority of those, who went to the front, could not return home for long years. “The Captivity Diary” is the history of our over 200,000 soldiers who fell captive and our people left to their faith. The documentary, which found life almost a century after the war, tells the tragedy of people, who are the very reason of subsistence of a nation; those who made the nation survive and stand.
